Many times, clients and their families ask, "why do I need an attorney for a DUI?" The answer is that a DUI charge is a serious allegation, and a conviction for DUI will have long-lasting consequences in many aspects of one's life.
It is important for the lawyer to carefully investigate the charge and determine if the state can prove the charges.
